The time wasted, the productivity affected, the motivation lost - and so I could go on for hours - when measured in cold, hard denaro, becomes incalculable! Does it not become so expensive that we may as well go out and buy Ferrari's for all the staff? What is wrong with the world today? How about greed, avarice .............. and ending in plain, old fashioned sloth. :) But what does it say for the quality of the management for allowing it? What most people are too stupid to realise is that they are fracking with people's lives. Gossip and politics can and will eventually harm someone and chances are that being in the workplace becomes a nightmare that takes its toll not only professionally but can impact on home life as well. Worst case scenario, someone can get fired. The question is - what are YOU going to do about it? Are you going to stand up for what is right and true and good? If you don't, what does that say about YOU as a person? What kind of human being are you going to decide to be? The thing is - this is what we are teaching the newbies: that you don't need to work hard and be intelligent and honest to succeed in life. All you need is to be manipulative and frack people over as much as you can. That is the ultimate ticket to success. Then people throw their hands up in the air and ask what is wrong with the world today..... Lesson number one: wherever there are people, there WILL be politics.
