The worst experience in Cape Town!

My girlfriend and I head off to Chrome for her friends birthday eventually on my third attempt I tried to get to drinks the bar man a “cool guy” was efficient got me 2 double vodka’s and cranberry juice and paid I ask him how much and he said R22, after enjoying the atmosphere and music while waiting for the other guys to pitch decided to get back to the watering hole and replenish my glass.

I ask the Bar man a totally arrogant prick if I could please have a Vodka and Cranberry he walk away and returned with my glass and ask me to pay him R50 so I went off I just paid R22 for two drink he charges me R50 for one told him that is daylight robbery.

He the fetched to bouncers and told me to stand in front of them and not move what the fuck……… my girlfriend has the money in her wallet she went to have a smoke I only have R20 he asked me is there anything you don’t understand he then insulted me in front of everybody took my money for the drink and told me I have to ask for cheep vodka and not what he poured me, I paid him for the drink and could not stand being in a place with standards that its okay to fuck your customers over because you think they can afford expensive drinks.

My Night was a disaster l I would never and could never treat anybody this way, I will make sure that every source of media knows what Chrome Night Club has been mark, measured and been found wanting!

The stupidity of the people who back chrome astounds me. . People who use the number “0″ for an “o”. What are you trying to defend? You lack self discipline and composure.

Such audacity to make nonsensical claims that have nothing to do with poor quality service

Personally, I hated my night at chrome and I prefer ‘The Assembly’ as entrance is cheap and there is always good music.

Please, chrome-supporters, educate yourselves.

Was having a fun time at the Rand a Brand last night until I got thrown out of the club. My sister was really drunk and she pulled me into the toilet since she felt like throwing up. I assume the bouncer thought we were going to have sex, so he banged on the toilet door, then when I opened he lifted me off my feet and carried me out of the club.

I really lost my temper when the bouncer wouldn’t let me walk on my own, but I kept repeating to myself, don’t do anything stupid.

Stupid naai. When I see him at chrome again, I’ll be sure to break his teeth. That’s just not how you treat your customers. If there’s a misunderstanding, you first give the customer a chance to explain, not just pick him up and throw him out the club.

Well, as for the service, I never had a problem, but then, clubs are rather empty this time of the year, so I never had to wait too long at the bar. Music wasn’t too bad either, but it’s a pity I didn’t hear any new numbers.

Big ups to you guy for voicing your grievences, I fully agree that it sucks!I went there and during the course of the night I handed in my bag at the little bag drop of section, and paid also (only R5) to have it watched by a lady on the staff. Turns out next morning when I opened my purse, all my cash was gone. Guess you really cant trust anyone, especially not Chrome staff. Plus one other alarming thing, how can you pay for the service of having your bag lost but there’s a huge sign that reads: if lost we will not be held accountable.what bull!

I fully concur with Donald, the service @Chrome sucks big time. The bouncers lack discipline and have not been trained on how to deal with people. I will never set my foot there again,I have also convinced my friends to do the same.

Chrome is the most screwed up club i have ever been to. I have never seen so many Horney people in my life. A club is meant for you to go out and have fun by dancing or drinking , however there are some bright sparks who prefer to get their hands in each others pants. thats just plain disgusting I mean are there that much of cheap skates that they cant even afford to book a flippin room. As for the girls they were very attarctive not all but most of them. It was sad to see the behaviour though whats the point in being beautiful when you have absoloutly no respect for yourself. i will never recomend this club to any one that is decent and goes clubbing pureley to have fun as its not worth the R50 entry or the R1.00 shooter.

i was unfornate to be one of those peeps who had a bad expierence at Chrome
on sat 19/12, i was invited with my partner , by a work collegue to Chrome , she told me that we are on the guest list so we did not have to pay, she received a e-mail from Chrome confirming that we are on the guest list .on our arrival , we dicover that we were not on the g/list as they were having this MTN KWAITO PARTY , and after we were told to wait outside while the lady at the door try to find out what was going on , a guy ,who i assumed was the manager came out and told us that we will have to pay if we wanted to go inside , dispite the fact that my friend showed him the e-mail confirming that we are on the guest list , and no apology for the mixup. we decide to pay and i nearly had a heart attack when told that we had to pay R 90.00 . we eventualy decide to go inside, but boy what a waste of money
the drinks were so expensive (R20.00 for a beer) , and the time you spend waiting at the bar for service , the bar staff was more interested in serving their friends first and having a conversation with the (picking up )girls than serving us, then we had to stand on the dance floor as there was no tables to sit at and the DJ was playing the same song over and over (i have been to less expensive places where the music and service was 10 times better)and my biggest shock yet , the toilets were so unhygienic. i realy expected a world class place for the cover charge that we had to pay . i must however compliment you on your decor but as far as everything else go , its a definate no for me . I have been to a lot of night clubs, some where there is no cover charge and have spend less money at these clubs but the next day , i could realy say “damn i’ve had a great time” but unfortunately the same cannot apply to your club , i felt that i have wasted a R 1000.00 on nothing (that what my outing to Chrome cost me ) the staff working at your club should be trained to deal with the general public especialy the manager that greeted us with such a sour face
