All stores can accept a Chip and Pin card, because they still have the mag-stripe.
Just because they’re not Chip and Pin enabled, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get a Chip and Pin card.

In a few years, when they announce that non-C&P cards wont be accepted at stores, wouldn’t you rather be prepared?

Was in the UK sept 2007 for business. and my non-chip card would not be accepted at footlocker among others I had to go draw cash… so bring on the Chip and Pin

I hate my chip card, and I don’t use it anymore.

You need to insert the card, and not swipe it. at the top of the machines there is a little slot that you insert it, type in your pin, confirm the amounts etc etc.

But that irritates me – I have a credit card because of the ease of purchasing – i.e. I can just swipe and don’t need to bother with pins and thing like that.
