Being a young, poor, aspiring golfer I know that the sport can sometimes dent the wallet. When I moved to Cape Town two months ago the price of golf memberships was really a bit crazy so I almost decided to cut down :) I found out about PlaymoregolfSA luckily however, for R99 per month you can get a ‘social’ membership and play some decent clubs around Cape Town (and other cities). It was a bit expensive to get started R499 start up cost, and I was a bit skeptical about the quality of the courses, but the last two weeks I have played Mowbray Golf Course and Devonvale and I was really impressed! So if you’re looking for a game on a budget, I suggest you check it out.
